Jane is a professional artist with 18 years teaching experience. Initially Jane worked as an Fashion Illustrator before opting to study for a Fine Art degree. As an artist Jane has had 9 solo exhibitions and numerous group shows in the UK, Miami, Barcelona and New York. She has featured in arts programs on BBC2 and Channel 4 television and in publications such as The Times supplement, iDfx interiors magazine and Modern Artists.
In her role as art teacher, Jane has taught drawing at the British Museum, run her own painting courses at The Pump Studio in Surrey, and was Head of Art at Belmont Preparatory School until recently resuming her own practise. She is one of the first tutors who joined Inner Art Tuition.
Jane has a vast range of experience working with those who need additional learning support. She seamlessly blends her art teaching with her own art practice and is a wonderful asset to the community.
Hannah studied at Wimbledon School of Art and Roehampton University. Her background as a production designer and illustrator for film informs her exploratory art practice. A member of the Dorking Group of Artists, she specialises in documenting contemporary landscape, working in oils and mixed media drawing and has exhibited in group shows in Oxford, Surrey and London since 2002.
Hannah has taught Fine Art and Photography to students aged 11-18 at Rosebery School in Epsom for 9 years, alongside designing and delivering adult life drawing courses and 1:1 tuition for students of all ages with Inner Art Tuition. She worked as a GCSE Art Moderator for six years, and taught Art in a specialist speech & language setting.
Hannah has two small children and delights in observing and encouraging the development of visual literacy from the very start of our lives as art-makers.
Amie is a professional artist. After graduating from art college in Cardiff in 2003 with a BA Hons in Fine Art Amie opened her own art gallery in York where she sold her paintings and supported other local artists.
Amie taught art workshops at the gallery including painting on canvas, collage, and life drawing, and she continues to sell her artwork at contemporary art fairs, local galleries, and online.
Amie currently lives in Reigate with her family and two young children. She loves to connect with those who love and appreciate art, and works with local primary school children, GCSE students and adult learners. By sharing art happiness and creativity in an accessible and genuine way, Amie is true to her own beautiful art vision.
Louise has empathy with the joy of an art filled life, as well as the challenges that learning brings. Louise combines gallery visits, Art A-Level knowledge, her Art History minor from University of Leeds, and the joy of her own art journey into her tutoring. She has a studio space in the Reigate Castle grounds where she specialises in charcoal and oil paint.
Louise is highly experienced in the corporate world of marketing and communications. Her role in the industry involves coaching and mentoring and she brings this in-depth understanding of people and progress with her to Inner Art Tuition.
Louise loves to build confidence, at all ages and has been a brilliant tutor for our young artists at Inner Art Club. Louise taught in Japan for two years and is loving working with young learners here in the UK.
Alison combines her love for creativity with a desire to help people find joy through art. After studying Art Foundation at Wimbledon School of Art, and a Graphics & Illustration BA Hons at Southampton Solent University, Alison completed her Art & Design PGCE at Bath Spa University College.
Alison's hands on experience includes teaching Art at secondary school, raising her own four children, designing & making sets and projects for Holiday Clubs, and supporting young people with their Art GCSEs. She balances a sense of purpose with a real love and appreciation of the open-ended nature of art.
Alison places importance in well-being through art and creativity. She works part-time as a colour pencil artist, selling commissions and prints of her incredible work.
Lawrence is a highly experienced London based artist and art teacher working in a range of different media, from visual art to music. After studying English at university his love of art grew and and he began selling his painted work a few years later.
Lawrence has exhibited work widely in the UK & Europe, and worked professionally as an artist and art project facilitator for over 25 years. He is an active member of several London art groups. His teaching experience includes working in schools, pupil referral units, and as a workshop leader in projects ranging from wood-carving to murals.
In his practice he frequently combines a variety of media in installations & digital platforms. Lawrence seeks to explore the creative arts as broadly as possible, without losing connection with fundamental visual art skills.
Karina studied Art & Design Foundation at Chelsea Art College and a BA in Photography & Graphic Design at Kingston University. She has been teaching privately, leading workshops in schools, public settings and at festivals for 10 years.
Having run a number of community projects around the UK, Karina set up Art Now – Banstead Art School where she has taught all ages over the course of 5 years. This included running theatrical life drawing events and preparing students for portfolio assessments and scholarship interviews.
Karina has a visionary art style and has worked as a commissioned artist. She takes her art to eco volunteer projects worldwide and believes art is a powerful tool to make positive change in the world.
Her work is inspired by nature, sound and the stories of life’s great mystery. She loves to share her passion and help people discover their inner creative potential.
Sarah studied Art & Design Foundation at University for the Creative Arts, Epsom and graduated in BA Hons Fashion Studies from the Arts University Bournemouth.
Sarah used her creative education to achieve a successful 13 year career within Fashion retail. During this time she worked within buying & marketing, visual merchandising, prop design and making innovative window schemes for reputable UK & Global brands. Sarah gained retail design awards and press acknowledgements for her work.
Sarah now delivers advice to students as a Disability Adviser for the University of the Arts London. She has supported students in roles at Arts University Bournemouth, Imperial College and UCL. Sarah’s focus is blending her enthusiasm for accessible and inclusive education with her passion for art and design, using her knowledge and experience to guide her students’ creative and professional progression.
Katie Beth Hooper
Katie Beth is a passionate Art tutor who believes art is for all, and art can make a fundamental difference to our lives. She has taught Art and Photography in schools and colleges for over 15 years, and was a Deputy Head of House for 6 of those.
Katie Beth undertook both her Art foundation and Illustration degree at Kingston University, and completed her Art & Design PGCE at Brighton University. She specialises in oil painting and life drawing, and has travelled extensively in Europe on location drawing trips.
Katie Beth ensures students have a fulfilling and professional experience through her creative working methods, prioritizing transferrable learning skills and enabling life long learning. She founded Inner Art Tuition in 2017.
