Celebrating Inner Art Tuition in Reigate
Testimonials & Thanks
It's been a real joy and absolute privilege to work with so many wonderful students throughout the years and see their individual journeys taking shape. The photo above is of Susan in her art studio. She started Inner Art Tuition as a total novice and over two years flourished into an independent artist, converting her garage into her art studio, and was selected for The Little Painting Challenge too! There's been many special successes, including double Art scholarships, Brit School places, A level and GCSE results, art competitions, art portfolios and many more. But ultimately students' belief in themselves is our priority, and we know sometimes just gaining the confidence to share artwork with a friend can be an achievement in itself.
Each lesson we teach, we learn as much if not more than the students - thank you all current and past students for being part of our own developmental journeys and keeping us forever learning! Thank you to the community groups we've had the pleasure to work with. And of course a special thank you to all the dedicated parents who support and encourage their children's appreciation of the creative arts.

"Freya absolutely loved it and I couldn’t believe the progress in just an hour. Jane is a fantastic teacher!"
"Can I just say how much I am enjoying my sessions with Jane, I have only been going for a few weeks and have learnt such a lot already."
"I am so excited to be moving forward at last with such expert and practical tuition. Very positive and encouraging but clear as a bell on the issues for improvement."
I am certainly enjoying my art work and have found working with Jane very productive and useful in terms of thinking about process, composition and just bouncing ideas about with her!
"Art lessons with Katie Beth are fun and exciting. She is an amazing teacher and makes art fun everyday. I particularly like my portfolio which is my record of all the things we did together. My art lessons make me feel happy and excited."

"Thank you so much for all the wonderful help and inspiration you have given Isabella. She couldn’t have had better preparation and we are so grateful for all your support and confidence-boosting advice! Thank you."
Thank you so much for providing such a lovely art lesson for Sophie, the prints look fantastic and l love seeing the photos too. The peacock feathers work so well as a lino print. Sophie really got a lot out of the session with Amie, and I'm sure she will be back again.
"Charlie absolutely loves it! It’s the highlight of her week to go to her art class. She does a lot of art at home but it’s so lovely to see her express herself in ways that she probably couldn’t do at home."
Thank you so much for an amazing art lesson today. I learned so much and enjoyed it too. I didn't want it to finish. Everyone seemed so friendly and supportive. I am looking forward to next week. I am already looking on Amazon for pencils, paper and sharpeners etc. I would love a list of items I need and want to purchase so I can practice at home. Thanks again.
My daughter can get very anxious with teachers but you really wouldn't notice when with Hannah. She is amazing with her. Thank you so much. It gives my daughter something to look forward to each week.

Please pass on my thanks again to Hannah for an amazing and challenging lesson - it was a lot of fun and so great to try something completely different.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my sessions with Hannah. I’m bereft that they’ve finished. I feel I've come on leaps and bounds. She has such a lovely, encouraging way of giving feedback. It really has been a joy.
Leo had an excellent session with Jane, he actually let me out of the room - to go and buy slime!! It probably isn’t much to most but he suffers terrible separation anxiety and really struggles if I’m not within sight to the point he’s having regular therapy to help deal with it. It’s a huge step for us and I’m immensely proud of him. The fact he felt safe with Jane considering he’s only known her for a short time was very comforting and just goes to show what a lovely person she is.
Alex is progressing so well with Jane and looking forward to continuing after GCSEs too. Jane has been amazing, and her enthusiasm and encouragement with Alex has really built his confidence. Thank you.
We are very impressed with Harley’s artwork, especially the shark painting that he did with Amie and the apples watercolor that he did with Jane. He really enjoys the lessons.

Freya absolutely loves the classes, I’ve never seen her so absorbed in something!
_________is loving his time with Jane. As a child who is not always massively communicative (!) it is so fantastic to see him laughing and joking with Jane & Alison when I pick him up. That's quite apart from the support he is getting in his art. Thanks so much to all of you,
"We found Katie Beth through a tutor website. Our son showed an interest and talent for art when he was quite young. I remember him telling me after a day at school reading Katie and the Waterlily Pond that he wished he could paint like Monet. We wanted to encourage and support him but my wife and I, and the schools, didn't have the ability to provide the guidance he needed. Katie Beth and Aiden hit it off straight away. It's been nearly four years since we started the lessons which we have about every two weeks. Aiden's passion for art is growing as is his ability. Katie Beth has taught Aiden about many different artists, modern and classic, as well as art techniques with different materials. We hope that Katie Beth and Aiden continue this journey together for many more years. Who knows. Perhaps our son will be a successful artist one day!"
